Service Division Manager

JRC is actively seeking a Service Division Manager to add to our team!

Founded in 1990 and located in Greenbrier, TN, JRC Incorporated is one of the nation’s premier construction companies. Licensed/Registered in 48 of 50 states we specialize in commercial and industrial capital improvement projects primarily; steep and low slope roofing.

JRC’s Service Division Manager will work directly with In House Crew Supervisor and Service Team to direct daily operations and successfully perform the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

  • Maintain a complete understanding of all projects under contract – proposal information prepared and presented, contract specifics, change order management and project close out
  • Assist in creation of initial proposals
  • Perform Pre, In-Progress, and Post completion job inspections
  • Verify accurate and complete tracking/reporting of project information, estimated time to complete, labor hours, and material
  • Ensure effective direction, control, and supervision of service teams
  • Drive continuous measurable improvement in safety, quality, productivity, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Show sense of urgency to remediate issues that may impact performance
  • Establish and maintain a regular training program to ensure technicians are professionally trained on the latest service/repair techniques
  • Communicate with In House Crew Supervisor and Service Coordinator to ensure technicians are scheduled properly by skill level & efficiency
  • In coordination with Service Coordinator, maintain master project schedule, change orders, and crew demands
  • Validate ample supply of material on-hand for potential service requests
  • Ensure company policies are being followed by all service technicians
  • Conduct performance reviews at regular intervals and make recommendations for promotions, pay increases, demotions, or terminations to management
  • Verify satisfaction of work completed, accuracy of billings, and assure proper close-out activities are completed
  • Assist in staffing office and field positions; forecast hiring needs and work with HR Department to implement recruiting and retention strategies

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • At least 3 years as Service Department Manager/Assistant Manager in construction related field
  • Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
