Lofts at City Center

JRC was awarded the TPO roofing contract for The Lofts at City Center Apartments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The Lofts at City Center will bring a 500,000 square-foot development at the corner of McFarland Boulevard and 13th Street that will feature a 1,226-bed student apartment complex, spaces for retail and restaurants and possibly a hotel. The Lofts at City Center have four five-story apartment buildings built around parking decks and open courtyards. The street network at the complex was designed for high foot traffic area such as: pedestrian and bicycle traffic and will include on-street parking for visitors. The approximately $100 million City Center will replace Wood Square, the shopping center that housed Hobby Lobby and Big Lots before it was destroyed by the April 27, 2011, tornado. (source)

Due to the size and long term development of the construction project, JRC separated the Lofts of City Center into 4 smaller projects.

As a part of a $100 million dollar construction project, JRC installed a white Carlisle TPO roof system for Phase 1, Garage and Phase 2 per the specification provided by the architect
