Sycamores Terrace Retirement Community

JRC was awarded the roof contract for a senior living community,  Sycamores Terrace Retirement Community in Nashville, Tennessee. For over 40 years, the senior living community has provided residents with exceptional care and service. The community offers 1 or 2 deluxe bedroom apartments with brand new cabinetry, appliances and lighting included. Sycamore has spared no expense in renovating the apartments’ interior and commons areas, all handicap accessible for ease of use. The fitness center, beauty salon, centrally located laundry facilities and activities rooms are just some of the community amenities that residents can enjoy.

For this project, JRC focused on removing and replacing the entire flat roof system spanning 41,932 sq ft. JRC began by preparing the existing decking for the new roof system. Once prepped, JRC laid the new insulation over the existing lightweight concrete decking using Fast 100 adhesive. By using Fast 100, the adhesive provides superior staying power for winds up to 120 mph, adds to rooftop R-values, resulting in a more resulting in a more energy-efficient and dependable roofing system. Once the insulation is applied, JRC fully adhered 490 sqs of Carlisle 0.60 White TPO. Carlisle’s reinforced TPO membrane is highly reflective and is the industry’s premier heat-weldable thermoplastic roofing material
