JRC was awarded the vegetative / green roofing contract for Walnut Commons Apartments in Chattanooga, TN by Construction Enterprises, Inc. (CEI). ‘Walnut Commons offers sophisticated, modern living located adjacent to historic district neighborhood and the Walnut Street Bridge. This is the most desirable location in downtown Chattanooga. Brilliant views of Chattanooga’s beautiful riverfront, downtown skyline, and arts district. Walnut Commons offers sleek studio, one, and two bedroom apartment home options.

The modern approach was apparent in their selection of their roofing system, the Carlisle vegetative roof system. JRC installed 1,600 sq feet of green roofing modules, which incorporates a protection fabric and pre-planted modules over the adhered waterproofing system. Residents can also enjoy the benefits of a green roof system; JRC installed custom walks and decks for the an additional space for residents to relax and enjoy the views.
