JRC received the roofing contract for a senior living community in West Hartford, CT. The Chatfield Community contacted JRC to remove and replacement their existing roof system.
In JRC's role as roofing contractor, our in-house team of surveyors utilized one of JRC's Planes to survey the community quickly and efficiency. After providing a detailed survey of the property, our dedicated and experienced expert team of estimators provide a written proposal of our recommended solutions.
For this community, JRC started by removing the existing roof system down to the plywood decking. Once the decking is inspected and ready for the new roof system, JRC mechanically install additionally insulations to replace the existing insulation thickness and installed tapered insulation over the complete deck to ensure proper water drainage. After ensure proper drainage for all new scuppers, JRC Fully adhere Carlisle .060 mil EPDM over new tapered insulation system. By fully adhering the membrane, the single-ply membrane is attached to the topmost surface of the roofing assembly through the use of adhesives, without penetrating the membrane. This method secures the membrane across the entire roofing assembly.
