JRC received the roofing contract for Paradise Springs in Spring, Texas, an affluent suburb of Houston. For this roofing project, JRC installed two different roof system - steep slope shingle roof and a low slope TPO roof along the service area. This is a common roof layout for multi-family properties.
JRC Production Team started by removing the existing roof system down to the decking. After inspecting the existing deck system as replacing plywood decking as needed, JRC installed over 750 SQS of TAMKO Heritage 30yr. Dimensional Shingles. The community decded to change the building's exterior color design by switching from a grey color palette to Tamko's 'Rustic Hickory' shingle.
Along the HVAC systems and other building maintenance equipment, JRC adhered 24 SQS of Carlisle 115 mil. Fleeceback White TPO. By installing Carlisle's Fleeceback, the community's infrastructure will have a thicker top ply-membrane that drastically improves the overall weatherability and durability. This is important as the services areas receive the most traffic if the units are regularly serviced.
Additionally, the property will notice higher hail and puncture resistance and greater wind uplift performance. The white color of the TPO will absorb less of the sun's ultraviolet rays that significantly impact the building's heating and cooling.
