Parkwood Siding, multi-family apartment complex, Meadows At Parkwood in Idaho Falls, ID.

JRC was awarded the Roofing Contract for the multi-family apartment complex, Parkwood Pointe Apartments in Idaho Falls, ID. After sustaining damage from a hail damage, JRC's Surveyor / Pilots inspected the existing roof system and assess the damage inflicted by the hail storm. After assessing the property, JRC recommended a new roof replacement, and replacement of the damaged siding. The property's green metal fascia was that also damaged by hail was replaced with a new white colored metal fascia per the client request.

For the shingle roof replacement contract, JRC began by removing the existing roof down to the plywood decking. Once the plywood deck's structural integrity was inspected and approved, JRC installed 816+ sqs of IKO Cambridge 30yr. Dimensional Shingles in Charcoal Gray.  IKO Cambridge 30yr. Dimensional Shingles is IKO’s most popular shingle. Its dimensional profile and deep shadow bands creates an appearance of natural wood shakes to create a high-end designer look at an affordable cost. IKO Cambridge series enhances any property's style, from traditional to modern, rustic to urban. It’s engineered to withstand the elements for years, making it one of the most durable shingles in the industry.

Additionally, JRC was awarded the exterior renovations contract in which the scope of work included: removal/replacement of the siding, gutters and the removal/replacement of the metal fascia along the clubhouse and office. For the siding portion, JRC installed 256 sqs Ply Gem Siding Carvedwood 44 in Desert Sand color. Ply Gem Siding Carvedwood 44 is an ideal choice due to its optimal thickness, resistance to fading and distortion, it's able to withstand up to 200 mphs high wind speeds, long-term weatherability, as well as, it is sustainable and recyclable for a better, eco-friendly choice.

JRC's Scope of Work also included the replacement of the metal fascia along the property. JRC began by removing the existing damaged fascia and fabricating the new fascia metal to fit the existing fascia board. The color change of the metal from the green to fresh white color will compliment the newly installed Desert Sand siding. By installing metal fascia instead of the traditional Polyurethane, the metal fascia will provide maximum ventilation by reducing moisture and condensation. Metal fascia is ideal for cold weather regions like Idaho as the material can be adjusted to fit into sharp tight spaces and produce a more air-tight seal as it expands and contracts with temperature change.
