JRC was awarded the roofing contract for Solstice Senior Living, an active senior living community in Lee's Summit, MO. Centrally located to Blue Springs, Independence and Kansas City, residents can enjoy the complimentary transportation to local Nationally acclaimed Historical and cultural attractions such as The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, National World War I Museum and Memorial, Harry S. Truman Presidential Truman Library & Museum and Kansas City Zoo. With over 4 acres, community residents can enjoy the landscaped gardens from their spacious apartment, or continue family traditions in the library, game, activity and media rooms.
For this project, JRC focused on the main building and two cottages throughout the property. To start, JRC removed the existing shingle roof careful to minimize interruptions to the residents with minimal debris. Once the old roof was removed and disposed of, JRC installed a new protective underlayment on top to protect against the elements. Once inspected, JRC installed over 700+ SQS of Tamko Heritage 30 yr Dimensional Shingles in a Rustic Black color. TAMKO’s distinctive granule mix and unique color drops add vivid color and blended shadowtone creates dimension, striking contrast and remarkable depth while adding curb. Roofing is the highest return on investment for exterior remodeling projects, according to the NARI and National Association of REALTORS.*
