JRC was awarded the roofing contract for the Willow Wood Community in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Located on more than 18 acres of extensively landscaped grounds, the 278-apartment retirement community offers multiple levels of care including: Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. The community's location provides seclusion from traffic and the bustle of a big city but residents can still enjoy the nearby shopping malls, cultural activities and the Atlantic coastline.
For this project, JRC's scope of work focused on the removal and full roof replacement. To start, JRC removed all existing material down to the plywood decking. After inspecting the decking, JRC replaced 20 sheets of decking to ensure the infrastructure properly prepped for the new roof installation. Once installing proper insulation across the entire roof system, JRC installed 960 SQS of Carlisle Fleeceback TPO.
